Inspirational Person I'm Digging This Week: Winston Churchill
Prime Minister (1874–1965). As prime minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill rallied the British people during WWII, and led his country from the brink of defeat to victory.
Beyond numerous impressive achievements in his life well before and up to WW2 -- Churchill was the sole opposition to Hitler for about 2 yrs. He had zero international support and even his own political party wanted to surrender and was always working to discredit or blame him -- and he alone would never compromise AND he singlehandedly inspired and kept the British troops and civilians motivated through all German bombing.
He never compromised his convictions and no matter the political outcome. The courage and wisdom he displayed is staggering.
Book I am Reading: Churchill
This book takes Tony Robbins MEGA Huge Money book - and simplifies the concept. VERY easy to read and apply. Using low cost index funds, coupled with a philosophy in line with the one that made Warren Buffett a multi-billionaire, Hallam guides readers to understand how the stock and bond markets really work, arming you with a psychological advantage for when markets fall. Thanks to James for the recommendation !

In his First Speech as Prime Minister to House of Commons ( May 10, 1940) he spoke the famous lines - "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat." I find the following even MORE inspiring.
