Briefly About Howard Schultz:
Howard Schultz (born July 19, 1953) is an American businessman. He is the chairman and CEO of Starbucks. Born in Brooklyn to a working class family. Started working for Starbucks in 1984 - which at the time did not actually serve any coffee - they only sold beans. Howard went to Milan for a coffee tradeshow. While walking around the city, he encountered several espresso bars where owners knew their customers by name and served them drinks like cappuccinos and caffè lattes. Schultz had an "epiphany" the moment he understood the personal relationship that people could have with coffee.
Later he raised $3.8 Million dollars to purchase Starbucks and start the path towards what we know today. He did not have ANY money to buy the company.
